Description
The Case Document Index is a case organizer from Lawtopolis. A table for indexing every filing, order and served document by date, docket number, document title, filing party, page count and where the copy is kept, with a separate section for orders and their deadlines.

How to use the case document index
Add each document the day you file or receive it, using the title exactly as it appears on the docket. Keep the index at the front of your case file.
First, read your court’s rules so you know what the finished document must contain. Next, fill in your own information. Then compare the result with the rules one more time before you file or serve anything.
Check your court’s rules first
Courts set their own formatting and filing rules. For example, they may set margins, font size, line spacing and page limits. Also, many courts publish their own mandatory forms, and you must use those where they exist. Federal rules are available from the federal judiciary.
